Sherman's Parks and
Recreation department is eager to assist you with any questions you
may have. Our offices are located in the Sherman Youth Center at 407
W. Washington. Please feel free to call or e-mail us with any questions
or concerns.
The City of Sherman's Parks and Recreation department
has an Advisory Board. Its mission is to advise the City Council and
the City Staff on the development and use of park facilities and activities
that will preserve, manage and enhance the leisure services designed
to meet the current and future recreational needs of the community.
The Board normally holds its meetings on the first
Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at 5:15 PM in the Youth Center,
located at 407 W. Washington. If you have something you would like to
present to the Board, please call (903) 892-7344 to be placed on the
agenda.
