Summary:
In 2001 Oscar Garcia and others were the focus of a cocaine distribution conspiracy investigation in north Texas. Garcia was identified as a top level cocaine (hcl) dealer in the Sherman area. The investigation showed that he routinely supplied cocaine to lower level dealers and teenagers from his residence. The investigation further showed that Garcia maintained a second residence in a separate part of the city. Several hispanic males lived in the second residence and they too supplied lower level dealers and teenagers with cocaine at the direction of Oscar Garcia. Garcia was arrested on various drug related charges in 2001. After posting bond for the charges he fled the area abandoning his wife, child, residence, and personal belongings. Garcia is said to be from Chihuahua Mexico and may have returned there seeking shelter from prosecution.
